Our Story
Resilience is the ability to recover from setbacks, adapt well to change, and keep going in the face of adversity. With this definition in mind, Resilience Treatment Center opened its doors in 2015 with a mission of making quality mental health care accessible to the greater Los Angeles community. Since opening with a Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program, Resilience launched its Residential program in 2018 and has consistently worked to ensure that the Resilience family includes clinicians with a broad range of experience and specialization to cater to a diverse clinical population.
Approach
The Resilience team takes a non-judgmental approach to our clients care; we believe that our clients are resilient and that by virtue of their walking through our door and being open to support and help, they can discover or recover their life worth living. Our goal is to learn as much as we can about our clients in the context of what is currently getting in their way of having a fulfilling life so that we can make recommendations for and implement a treatment plan that supports them in getting there.
Goals
It is our core belief is that Resiliency is at the center of living a healthy, fulfilling and empowering life; at Resilience, this begins with a goal-oriented approach and a therapeutic process that involves cultivating skills for emotional regulation and coping with daily stressors. No two clients, experiences or challenges are alike and our clients exhibit tremendous courage in showing up for your treatment. It is, therefore, Resilience’s mission to ensure that we lower our client’s barriers to accessibility.
